Says I had improper mufflers and too loud of an exhaust system. Said there's a city ordinance in Enterprise where if a cop can hear ur cars exhaust note from 25feet away then they can ticket you. At first he thought i was drunk or high and asked if anything was wrong w/ me and i said "no sir, im fine. Would you like me to do the usual drunk tests for you?" Me saying that really pissed him off and he thought i was being rude and sacastic. i said "no sir im being polite and serious cuz thats what i wanted you for me to do". He said" Is there any reason why i shouldnt haul you off to jail right now!" I said,"No sir, i dont think so." Then he said "Look kid, im gonna go run ur license and then come back here and start over. If you continue to be rude w/ me then im going to take you out of ur car, pat u down, and cuff you. Then its off to jail" So he comes back being all nice and im doing my best to be REAL nice and tells me to get my exhaust changed ASAP and just gave me a written warning and said goodnight. That was it but i was stunned for a few minutes then drove away. Cops are such weird folks sometimes!!!

ahahahahahahaha. gotta love the enterprise cops. wouldnt happen to have his name would ya? that's now 2 people pissed off about your exhaust (cop and my landlord).

Cant really read it. Badge is 241. Name starts w/ a J and last name looks like mcmillan or mullin. I dunno but he was a younger guy w/ short hair, maybe earlier 30s

I'd much rather change my exhaust than go through the crap I'm about to have to go through. Court Date is the 31st.

I don't know......It seems to me that this new crop of police officers out there today are starting to act like they have been trained by the **** SS. Not the same o' USA I remember growing up in......sad, we are quickly becoming not so free. We shouldn't have to be "afraid" of going to jail because of your attitude! Is there a law that says you have to be polite to them? Don't they work for you, "to protect and serve?"

i have gotten a ticket for improper exhaust. in our cars....the "passenger compartment" does include the rear trunk area. which is bs...but its the law. it used to be 2" passed the rear axle but that has been changed.
