Nice job. But if it weren't for that stall, you wouldn't be seeing 12's anytime soon.

Can't wait to get mine in

oh i know thats why i think a stall is a must for a first 3 or so mods. it is insane on street tires even. should get a little better with some drag radials.

yeah i wonder if tuning will really net me any better gains, it would have to be MOT because there are no sponsors around here that tune.

Nice times 60ft is outstanding on street tires.

Do you have the HPP 3 tuning installed?

The reason I ask is I have a HPP3 which I got for cheap $85
I figured I could use it to change my speedo when I install the 3.73's and use the firmer shifts and change shift points.

HPP3 gets such a bad press on here I wondered if anyone is seeing any gains at the track from using the power tune?

So it's actually 4 mods not 3 Nice 60' on the street tires. I remember blowing mine off the line when I first got the stall, going WOT with a bigger stall is not good for ETs

i have the power program installed but i don't know what it actually did or if it did anything and i just use it for the tire size and the shift firmness. how did you go 12.69 at 110.2 where was this at on a g-tch or in like -1000 ft air? lol j/k man that is a sweet time. mine was in like 1900ft corrected altitude which sucks but oh well still man 12.69 is fast as hell with those mods.

I just have the firmer shifts installed for now on the HPP3, if I get a chance I will install the power programming when I run without spraying for a comparison.

I'm sure I read something about the HPP3 changing the timing so it's not good to run it with Nitrous!

it rained man lol. i got there changed the tires, barely made it through tech with no longer wheel studs, got to the lanes and it rained as i was in the burnout box. they cancelled the race and i had to change my tires in the rain with no blacktop in the pits. oh well THATS RACING. so we'll try it again next sunday at the same track.

well i finally ran the car with drag radials. kinda disapointed. i installed 1. new converter same stall but the old one was defective not locking up due to clutch lining problems, 2. 15*8 weld draglites with hoosier QTP 26*15*9.5 and they are much lighter than my chrome wheels, and also the suncoast ram air kit for my hood rather than my MTI setup. the car then went a best of 1.779 60ft. and went 13.001 at 103.90 MPH. this sucks i'm kinda pissed about the whole thing i don't know what happend.
