more than likely the ditched the SC and went turbo... A guy I know has a cam/turbo/IC/racing tranny on his 99' GTP and went 11.99 about a week ago, in fact here is his video:

http://www.alabamaracingscene.net/Videos/Dave11.wmv

and here he is racing a 03' GT Mustang w/ a vortec supercharger...

pleace right-click save as to save the bandwidth...

its a pretty quick car....

****! Makes me want to put money into my GTP. That thing can fly! Quarter mile times?

More info on the GTP! Very nice. I just wish it were RWD and a manual, then I'd actually be interested in modifying mine.

you don't have to go ***** to the wall... I think you will be happy with I/E/Pulley/PCM...

can be done for $500 and will knock off a full second through the 1/4, you should be going high-13s/low-14s...

Looking to sell it for an LS1. I have a warrenty to 125K miles, so I'm avoiding mods. On top of not having money

If I did mod, I would just get a pulley and gut a stock intake box or do the FWI mod. If I had the extra cash I would get the DHP PCM and exhaust.
