Beautiful, although I'm not sure I'd pay $45K for it. I paid less for my Z06.

I agree. 45K is way to much IMO.

Yea, I agree on the price, the car is gorgeous though. A friends dad has a 95 ZR1 which is sick, I totally love the car, but he doesnt take care of it that much.

I know a guy who paid over 90K for one of those things!! I really don't understand what the big deal is about them? 375 hp?, throw a cam and heads on any 350 and you will be over that!!

The 375 and later 405 hp ratings where underrated. Those engines (LT5) scream up top and it'll drag a car up to 180+mph quickly.

I respect the engine, but I don't know to fix everything that can go wrong with it, and that makes me want to stay with the GEN I, II, III series. (what I know)

That LT5 is a whole different animal.

sorry to bring this up from the dead but from what I have heard mercury marine (the company that origionally built them) is the only shop in the world that can rework the heads because of the special tooling required

but on another note there great engines and I have heard of them going over 150k miles with little to no major service makes the ford 4 valve look like a pile if you ask me
