Default Whipple 200ci (3.3L) supercharger!

http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/...sp?ProdID=1230
Not sure if someone has posted this yet, but this looks damn sweet on an LS1! It also looks to have alot of potential! But it looks a little tall to fit any Fbody or Corvette...

I don't think it will fit under the hood of a Vette let alone an Fbody. It was made for LS1 sandrail guys. I do know of one of these 3.3L Whipples on a 427 SSR though...Tight but it fits...

A 4" cowl hood might work on a Camaro...

i thought a big fitment problem wasnt just the hood, it was also the plastic piece that holds the windshield wipers

when they say f-body I'm sure they mean it just hooks up to the 6 rib belt-not that it will fit inside an fbdy without mods

Hmmmm....might have to get more info on this one. I was hoping the KB big blower would be out by now, but even that doesnt hail in comparison to this Whipple.

It will definitely fit in a GTO if you get the Starr Performance version. Only a hood swap required. The 3.3 is pretty impressive. I'll be swapping out my 2.3 as soon as my new motor is done.

It isn't a kit for F-bodies, it's a kit that uses the F-body drive pullies.

You are sick! I assume that you are totally re-doing the rear to get some meat under the car.

I'm going to give the new aussie twins a try. I miss the INSTANT throttle response, which is the downside w/ the STS.

Yeah...there's no WAY that thing will fit under an F-body cowl (unless they've done some serious mods to it). If by some miracle they can get one to fit, I'd go that way...otherwise, it's nitrous for me

The 275 M/T radials were enough to smoke the clutch last time at the track. I've got BMR driveshaft, stubs, and CV's as well as a Tex clutch awaiting install. The diff will likely fizz if I don't launch straight or beat on it too much around town. The low end torque of these things is a double edged sword. Launching one is defininitely an acquired skill which I have yet to master, especially on a traction-impaired car like a GTO. Throttle restraint is the key. But the SEG is worth all the hassle. Nothing like feeling around the back seat for your eyeballs.

Why not go for the true hotrod look and just cut a hole for the blower to stick out the hood? Gives the person a sick feeling like your car is about to hurl into them and take a chunk out of their a ... bumper.

Mike, if the drivetrain will hold up with all of your mods, that is a good sign. I've realized that for what I want to do, the 550-600 from the twins will work.

For my really sick car...see here: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=634491
