I have a LM2 with LTs but with an offroad y. Its loud and raspy. I think cats might kill some of the rasp.

Putting 1 cat will hurt more performance opposed to putting 2 cats in the Y, just FWIW

It wouldnt be too bad but w/ 2 cats your running 4 cylinders of exhaust through 1 cat where if you only put 1 cat your pushing 8 cylinders of exhaust through 1 cat. Im not sure how well those flow but it will definitly be more restrictive then putting 2 I would guess probally cost ya around 4-6 HP not really all that much

I'm not using the Pacesetter Y. I had a shop custom bend me a 3" Y with a wideband O2 bung.

friend has one on an lt1. I know its a different motor, but he had pacesetters and his was way too raspy! They don't sound too good to me.
