Default Houston people...Where's a good place to shop for a mattress?

Anyone been mattress shopping lately? It's time for us to get a new one, and I'm just wondering who has the best deals. I was thinking Gallery Furniture or Mattress Firm?

just look around for sales. If a smaller shop will have a sale and itll be cheaper than other places. Just shop around

We picked ours up at Foley's. They have some pretty good sales every now and then. Just keep an eye on the circular.

Ok, I guess it will just be a matter of us testing the mattresses out to see which one we want to get and then just shop for the best price on that mattress. Who has a really big selection/variety of mattresses to check out?
Do any of these places have returnable "test periods" on mattresses...incase we are a couple of weeks into the mattress and are unsatiisfied with the feel?

I know Foley's has a trial period. Not sure if their selection is comprehensive, but it's pretty decent. Mattress Giant has a good selection, but their prices are way too high. It all depends on your budget. Those memory foam mattresses are really comfortable, but pricey. We did this whole thing about 6 months ago. We checked Mattress Giant, Gallery Furniture (expensive also), half a dozen specialty mattress places along I-45, and ended up back at Foley's because they were running a sale and they also said they would come pick it up if we didn't like it.

Go to Mattress Giant with cash in hand! It's like dealing with car salesmen there.

We got ours here. We got a really nice top of the line Sealy for real cheap. Shipped directly to your house so you don't have to get it home or pay for delivery and I don't think we had to pay tax. We compared to sales at local stores and even bargained with some stores and no one even came close on price.
