Default new tips, new problems

Ok as you know i just ordered megz dual dual 3.5 inch tips. I was for sure that the loudmouth system was with 3 inch outlets but it turns out they are only 2.5. I order the tips with a 3.0 inlet. Is there anyway without welding to get them on, like a adapter pipe or something.

Why wouldn't you weld on your tips in the first place? That's the way they're supposed to be done.

I hate having anyone but me mess with my car, i want to be able to take these tips off someday, whenever that is. I may get them spotwelded someday but for now i just want them clamped.

Oh...okay, well you can go to an auto shop and find some adapter tubes...that might work out for ya. But if you take it to a speed shop, a good one, they would be able to fit that adapter onto the pipe then spot weld the tips to the pipes, you'd never know the difference. Good luck

Well if they make the tips with the 2.5" inlet that the SLP exhausts all have, then hell yeah...if they'll swap it out for you go for it...easiest way!! If not, then you'll just have to go the route i suggested. But if they'll take them back...go make that phone call.
