Default Incon hitting 700rwhp?

Just curious. When y2khawk (Harlan) hit 700rwhp / 715rwtq on his gtbb-35's... Was he running race gas? Meth? And what dyno was he on? I'm assuming he was on a Mustang, because IIRC he only used a Mustang at the time

Just curious if anyone else has been putting down 700rwhp+++ other than him and cablebandit.. Anyone ever hit 700rwhp on pump gas and would it be possibly without upgrading to the stage 3s?

Nice... Got any videos, dynographs, anything like that? How much boost? I'm tempted to make a website about the kits and post info on peoples setups... The incon kits fascinate me.

Think 700rwhp on 93 is somehow doible with a fully built, awesome flowing 346? GTBB-35 or GTBB-37s..?

Holy* crap. Incons on a 408? Talk about backpressure :o. Does he post on here? anywhere I can get some info? Stage I and II have equal turbo sizes. Stage III's have the bigger 37's.

edit: Only was supposed to be holy*

That's one of the first things that Jose pointed out once he saw my system. Given the turbos the system would have a HIGH backpressure.

I was using 110 at the time. waste gates wired shut. Would make about 18 psi on the inital hit, and drop to 14 or 15 by the top of the gear. That was on a shitty set of heads, mismatched cam, and stock cubes.

That's pretty damn impressive for a bad head/cam combo.. Mustang dyno?

Obviously the back pressure isn't optimum, but it's liveable. LPE uses GT28R's (Stage 1 Incon) on their 427 packages. Manuals with boost controllers run low 700's rwhp and +800tq. Those cars have run in to the 9.5's with everything perfect. Their 8 second Vette stepped up to GT3076R's and a front mount IC. I'm running 709rwhp with 428ci and +800tq through a T400 trans.

Now with all that said, my personal experiece says forget the big cubes with an Incon set-up because it makes too much low end torque to hook. A nice 346ci with a matched TC is the ticket with an Incon.

Haven't got the tuning worked out for my car yet but that was a HP number I was looking for on my built 346 with incon's and meth injection.

mine has been 93+ meth....will do 700 all day long. Would only pull 650/675 with a crack in the #4 cylinder liner I ditched my tiny incon intercoolers and will dyno again sometime to see how much it helped/hurt

I was just about to say "cablebandit" for this thread. Youve been a ghost lately.
