hi for some reason about 3weeks ago my rearend started making a clicking noise in or out of gear while taking a left or a right hand turn. It sometimes does it when im coming to a stop not on the brakes but if i just take it out of gear and let it roll had fluid changed still doing it just lookin for some help thanks

depends on the year. if its a torsen rear then thats what it most likly is. start saving for a rear end if thats the case.

sounds like your rear is abouut to go out. mines doing the same

Mines been doing the same thing for 5000miles, only its not clicking, its more of a faint thump. Let us know what you find out.

my car was making a very similar clicking noise when coming up to a stop with the clutch pressed or in nuetral (no load on rear) and a couple weeks later it started making tons of noise it turns out i broke a tooth off the pinion and the next three teeth in a row were cracked and ready to go, when i had the ring and pinion replaced

i guess 300 at the wheels is plenty enough to break a stock pinion with street tires (never had wheel hop problems either) bfg's kdw's by the way
