Default a good cheap wheel to mount a set of drag radials on

I want to buy some drag radials to be used only when I'm at the track. What would be the best set of wheels to mount them on that is also fairly inexpensive.

Thanks

that or one of those steel wagon wheels, look like crap but for 34.00 bucks each can not get any cheaper than that.

People just about give their factory 16x8s away. Atleast that way you can still have a little style

Aren't those only available in 15" diameters?

stay with factory 16X8 and go with 26 or 27 ET Street's for best hook...

Factory take-offs would be my route, actually I did go that route first before I got my Bogarts. No hassle with worrying if they're going to clear the calipers or not, plus they won't stick out like other wheels might and they certainly don't look bad. Like it's been mentioned, you can get them for a very low price too. Plus, they won't be as heavy as those steel wagon wheels. I could go on with the pros, but you get the point...

Those steal wheels are heavy as hell. The exact opposite of what you want when you drag race.

The stock 16x8s are pretty heavy, I think 23 lbs but way less then a steelie and for the price often really can't beat it.

the silver flakes that came on '00-02 z28's are supposed to be the lightest. 17lbs. They work great with the 255 50 16" m/t radials.

I got 4 flakes to get rid of.

I second this. The snow flake wheels are light.
