Atlanta Dragway question
I know some of the NHRA places check for a driveshaft loop. Well unfortunately since I have long tube headers the stock one does not fit and "YES MY FAULT" I didn't pickup on from BMR or SLP.
Anyone know if they check at Atlanta Dragway during the tech inspection. I have a convertible and there is a crossmember there that is almost in the same place, just a few inches forward.
If they do, does anyone know if there is a shop around Alpharetta that may have one of these. Of someone in Atlanta selling one.
If they do, BUMMER!!! Guess I will have to order one from BMR and wait until the next test and tune night

Great, I have my helmet in the trunk.
Guess I will head out tonight and try. Worse case is I have to drive home which I can still can get some more LC-1 logging and fine tune the AFR for normal driving.

Actually its probably a little higher if I went on a dyno, but I use EFILive and the Real World, RWHP PID I created (Yup I created it). Dynos don't account for all the other factors, and with this run I did it was before I put in a spec stage 3 clutch and 3:73 rear end. I do know now that I can lift the nose of the ground, and prior to the clutch it would raise up the nose but not the tires. I know using EFILive, and LC-1 running SD its certainly feels much stronger. Having all that there really is no reason to goto a dyno other then numbers.
EFI Real World HP Pid
This is at 393, but I have had several runs well into the 400s.

If you do need one, I think I may have a Lakewood Driveshaft Loop laying around, I'll have to check on it...
Put on the car only once, basically brand new, all hardware included
$40

Well I met some great LS1tech guys out there last night. The tech review was basically if I had the battery held in place and windows up for the convertible. And helmet
Not to bad, I am happy with the results. If I didn't sit there for what felt like a lifetime I would have done better. At least I beat the Mustang with a huge @ss cowl, loud exhaust and stickers everywhere. Was kinda cool although seeing him leave first quickly pull him in and cross the end almost nose to nose.
He may have left first but I had a better trap and et.
Using the hp estimator its at 379rwhp, at the 447 engine.

Things to work on that were my fault.
Bouncing off 1st and 2nds rev limiter: ( paying more attention to my shift light may help )
Paying more attention to the tree and not the guy standing there.
EFI showed it had KR which pulled timing so I am working on that and AFR. Just wish we could have had a few more runs before it was rained out.
