Default Hooker LT on stock internal, Befor 13.98@110 After 13.50@114

Befor my car run 13.98@110 , now after i install the Hooker LT with custom Ypip 2.5" , and i finish from ported MAF, TB and the finally, custom made flange cutout 2.5".

The different on the G-tech :

Befor 13.98@110 0/100 5.7sec

Now 13.50@114 0/100 5.1sec

What is your opinion guys ??

Fahad,

You'll probably have to use a more accurate scource than a G-tek. You should be probably in the low 13's to high 12's.

To put a perspective on things, my car runs 12.84 @ 111 with a 2.0 60'
You probably picked up 4/10 but I'm sure your faster than 13.5

13.98 and 13.50 seem like pretty high numbers so I wonder about the accuracy, but whatever the numbers you definately seem to have made your car faster. Being from Kuwait maybe it's the desert heat slowing you down.

If the G-tech is accurate on ET's, but off on MPH it would be tough to guage how much power your car is putting out. Many people have said MPH is one of your best sources for determining what kind of power your car has and what it's potential is.

ET's don't really matter as much because they can be a function of how good of a driver you are which may not have anything to do with what your car is potentially capable of.

forget the g-tech that thing is incorrect
with that trap speed you would not be running a high-mid 13s.
no way

The mph on the Gtech is higher then what you see at the track because at the track your trap speed is the average over the last 66ft. Whereas the Gtech gives your final speed, not an average.

The G-Tech may not be the most accurate thing as far as times, but it seems to be fairly consistent, so it gives a decent idea of 'before and after' changes.

I heard that the ET is fairly close to the track time, but the MPH would be off due to the way the Gtech calculates it

The GTech has proven to be very accurate and consisten, up to a point. As already pointed out, MPH will be a little high. ET's will be higher on the street than at the track because of traction issues. But run-to-run, the times should be right on.

I have seen several guys do GTech readings at the track, and they were consistently within .05 secs of the track times.

g-techs are pretty accurate depending on how striat the road is and on inlines. I usualy run a 13.3@114 on my gtech with my 02 z28 have an airlid and borla.
