Just curious cause this guy was totally down talking ls1 trans ams and camaros. saying he feels sorry for me to own one. when he doesnt know anything about them. i know 95 mustangs GT run around 15 stock...so what do you guys/gals think one would run with 8 psi??

I have a buddy that has a 93 LX 5 liter with a HP Turbo kit (67mm). With 10lbs boost and completely stock engine, he put down 390 rwhp & 480 rwtq. A head/cam f-body should have no issue with a good driver.

I would'nt under estimate any turbo'ed mustang if i were you, it could be a real efficient twin turbo kit. Just remember that turbo kits for mustangs had been around for awhile now, way before the birth of LXS's engines. A lot of their kits are proven and tested.

The only thing I've personally experienced to compare to it.

1989 Mustang GT with a vortec supercharger. It ran either 7 or 9 lbs of boost on a completely stock motor.

He ran 11.9 in the 1/4 mile. Did so for about a year. Then took the kit off and sold the kit and car seperate.

That car was really fast. Faster than me right now.

i ran a supercharged 2000ish gt mustang and he was about as fast as i am with just my cam....then i smoked him with my spray. i would have to say I don;t know a whole lot about mustangs but he is running the two valve motor, it's no turbocharged cobra motor thats for sure.

My STONE stock 88 GT with a street turbo kit, T63 turbo, and supporting fuel mods made 475 RWHP on pump gas, tuned by the great Job Spetter. It made nearly 600lbs of torque at the wheels. Ran 125 in the 1/4, but had a shitty ET due to being a stock T5 (granny shifting) and on 16" drag radials. It was stock otherwise, even the valve springs. And it was full weight. This was all on pump gas, 14 psi.
