Default Long tubes came in.

Lg's pro long tubes came in today. I'll be installing them tonight. Shouldn't be too bad.

The headers are badass looking....I know they worked on my old setup....which where great but, the LG's that I had were prototypes, with V band clamps. I will tell you that the NEW headers, are WAAAAAAY lighter then my old set. I highly recommend them to everyone.

After the install, I need to take a quick 1 1/2 hour ride north to pick up my new TNT system.... should be dope. I'm gonna try and install the headers tonight, and the 90mm TB and fast intake tommorrow......with the F2 TNT kit.

I'm trying to make it to the track wendsday. We'll see.....

Peace out.

Haven't been to the track yet man. Gonna try and go tomorrow.

I highly recommend the Pro's....although I have no experience with the street series. The pro's make the most power/torque numbers soo...thats for me.

I just got back this morning...car feels awesome....what a difference these headers make.

Thanks to Bobby @ LG for hooking me up....and special thanks to my friends here at work for takeing the time and helping me bang out my headers job....

It's 7:35pm...just finished installing only the nitrous bottles. Not a hard job but, by yourself, it kinda sucks. It's hard to tighten the bolts, while trying to get around the catback. Anyways, thats pretty much all I'm gonna do on the spray tonight, cause the FAST 90 isn't on yet(I don't have the harness but it should be at my house right now). No sense of doing much else. So, tommorrow I think on my lunch break i'll bang out atleast the fast install....and maybe i'll have a friend wire the spray.

I'd like to make it to the track tommorrow,...if possible.

Also. just finished my FAST 90/90 setup...with the TnT F2 wet kit. The kit is all on, just finishing running the line now,...and I still need to do the wireing on it. Then she'll be ready again.

Also...just installed the DRM(doug rippie motorsports) coil-overs today. Came out nice. Just makeing the final adjustment on the rears..since it's sitting a TAD too high in the rear.

Anyways....i'll keep you all posted.

I have to agree, my LG headers on the C6 were VERY nice and fit great. Install was a breeze on the C6, plenty of room to put them in from underneath. I'm so used to the jigsaw puzzle with f-bodies that working on Corvettes is a joke

Post some pics dangit! You are killin' me with these updates and no photos

lol. Thanks guys. I will, no matter what, post some pictures of the NEW car today. My bad. I was thinking of that last night on the way home doing about a buck twenty...lol.... I'll get them up asap.

BUT IT WON'T BE CLEAN!!! lol. Won't have time to wash it myself till later on this evening but...i'll get some as she sits now.

The LG's completely changed the cars attitude....completely. By far, one of the mods that should be done to ALL of our cars unless ofcourse your useing turbo maniflods. By far, one of the best mods.

The coilover are freaking CRAZY!!!

This morning, while at the light I take off,....roll through first.....roll through 2nd......third gear and punch it(I don't know the mph but i' guessing 40 to 50ish mph and I still had my stability control active(on)..... "BLLLLAAAAAATTTTTTTTT"(my cars exhaust note) and that thing got SOO sideways it was crazy. I gotta tell you....I wasn't ready for it(comeon, third gear, with untouched blocK?)...anyways....it was nuts. Car quickly got back in check, and I set up for my 90mph corner/merge onto the highway. The positive feedback from the new suspenion is awesome, and on point.

I feel like i'm driving a racecar....

The car is becoming a dream come true for me.

Pictures I hope to get taken right now....and later i'll wire up the nitrous system.

Peace out ladies and gents... see ya.

So it's easy to install headers on a 97-04 Corvette? Any cutting of the exhaust required?

Well, it really isn't that bad. If you go with KOOKs, which in my opinion are GREAT headers!....you won't any hard time at all.

If you decide to go with LG's,..which to me are the best...your gonna have an easy time on the passenger side....and the drivers will cause you to have minor setbacks.

What I did...

Driver side, remove belt/alternator(15mm). Remove ect sensor, plugs/wires/coilpacks.

Remove ground thats on the lower driver side of the motor, right above the oil filter. Remember, on the side, not the back. Doing this will help the headers to slide up from the bottom, with minor rockeing back and forth, it pops right up in place. If you have someone to help you, taht would be great.

Other then that, I'd recommend getting 02 extension wires, unless ofcourse you make your own like I did. I recommend buying the proper extensions.

The X-pipe wasn't hard....

..the entire job isn't rocket science....but it is work. Nothing you guys couldn't handle, as long as your determined.

I'd remove plugs on both sides.

Well..lol...

We JAM out at work.....when time is short. Blast the music...and start dry humping the car pretty much. Like I said before....I couldn't have done it with the help of my friends here at work. My fellow techs. Big thanks to them for there time in my car. My boy chris helps me out alot when its regarding anything on my car. I think at one point there were three people on the car working on it.
