1997 6.5L Intercooled Turbo Diesel Tahoe - 1 of 92 ever made 1997 Tahoe 2DR. 4X4, White w/grey cloth interior, center console, full power options, compass and more. 97,150 miles.
Factory Dealer ONLY option- 6.5L Detroit Diesel engine w/4L80E Transmission.
Diesel Towing Package- Includes oil,trans, and power steering cooler.
This truck is EXTREMELY RARE!!!! However, I am in need of something that I can have easy access to a baby seat due to my first child is expected in August
Upgrades- Custom front mount intercooler, custom ECM by Kennedy Diesel, custom 4in" exhaust, custom air intake, autometer boost and EGT gauges, Air Ride rear suspension bags for heavy towing, trailer brake controller, rear lights for connecting trailer at night, 06' chrome Silverado rims, newer tires, Alpine cd player.
Also my favorite....175db Locomotive train horn system with air compressor, tank, and 3 horns.
There is nothing mechanically or cosmetically wrong with this truck. I have been meticulous about EVERTHING!! I get more attention with this truck than most cars around I have towed through the mountains with a loaded 8500lb. enclosed trailer and had no issues and PLENTY of power. I average about 20MPG city/highway and with the big trailer I was averaging 13-14MPG.
Also the diesel injection pump system is under warranty from GM until the end of 2008' or 120,000 miles.

Timmy you have a sound clip of the 4 inch? Im just curious because I have a qaud cab 98 and was told that it will sound like a Big Block because of the Engine Design. Let me know, I would be interested in hearing it. This is definetly a rare find and has some nice goodies on it!! TTT!

With the muffler I have it doesn't sound like a Big Block, it would without the muffler. It has a little rumble but all I hear is the turbo whining away
I don't have a sound clip but your more than welcome to take a listen.

Like sean said. All new shocks, brakes and regular maintenance things. I am always a step ahead
