Squeeling ... please help!!
Sometimes when I take off and the car boggs a little, (meaning when I dont give it enough gas) the car makes a squeeling sound! It only does it when the car boggs from a stop or when powershifting! I cant quite figure out where its coming from. Can someone please tell me what it could possibly be and how to fix it? Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

Re: Squeeling ... please help!!
No...I dont think its that, its coming from the motor. Im thinking its the belt or one of the pulleys, but then again, I could be wrong. Ok...this might help a bit...if youve seen the ZL1 run video, thats the squeeling that Im talking about. When its at the line and he gives it a little gas, it makes that sound. I dont know how to explain the video but its done when getting ready to make the run.

Re: Squeeling ... please help!!
It may be, but I seriously doubt it because I replaced them when I installed the ASP underdrive crank pulley! They havent been on there but maybe 2 or 3 months. Thanks

sorry for adding this in your engine squeak post, but my car does the squeak thing from the back too. Mine was the trunk latch. I wrapped a little duct tape on the truck lid and it is a tight fit when it closes, but no more squeak <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

If this is a real quick, sharp squeal that goes away as quickly as it comes, I'll bet the belt is slipping on the pulley. If you want, shoot it with some anti-slip spray and see if that kills/quiets it. Just a thought for ya!
