Default Chirping sound?

I turned the car on after the storm this morning and heard a chirping sound. When I get on the gas it just chirps faster. Or at least it did, now that its nice and dry outside no more chirping. Sounded like it was coming from the ***. Drive. Any clues?

I just solved alot of my squeals n squeaks from the belts / pulleys. I had a squeak at idle which was solved with a new idler pulley (like 20 bucks) and a squeal exactly as you described which was caused by the belt (like another 20 bucks).

FWIW my old belt LOOKED almost brand new, but that bitch made it squeal for sure.

Thanks I'll get to that next week or so when I get paid. I thought it could be god's vengence for hitting a bird in mid air when I floored it 3 days ago. Man was that scary and unexpected.

There is a bird stuck in your motor. They usually go in there and hide during storms.

Hell if he's still selling the whole motor you should just buy that...Just in case the bird nested inside somewhere.
