Default Setting adjustable rockers

About to put the heads back on my car. I have comp's 1.85 adjustable rr's.
I've never set these before and looking for some tips. Its on a 98 C5 w/ ported LS1 heads.

Figure out how much one full turn moves the adjusting screw.

Adjust the rocker for "0" lash.

I use a felt marker to put a mark on the roller then adjust to the point where I can't roll the roller with my finger.

I use that as "0".

Then I just dial in the preload.

On mine (Comp Cams #1500) one full turn = 0.050"

With adjustables, your pushrod length will also determine your wipe pattern on the valve stem. Did you check this?
