Default 280 + degree cams and pistons

What psitons are people using in thier LS1's with 12:1 comp or more & cam shafts with 280 orso degrees @ 0.050" ?

This is for a 4.030 bore, 6.25" rod and 4" stroke.

I hope I don't have to get custom pistons made.

I'm pretty sure you're looking at custom pistons, expecially with the big chamber heads your more then likely going to run (big = high 50s low 60s cc in my opinion) limiting the dish you can retain the the long rods keeping your piston at tdc a little longer. In fact, does anyone even make a shelf piston for that rod length and 4" stroke? I've got 11.5 to 1 compression with 38 cc dish pistons in my 434 but then again i've got a 38cc combustion chamber in my r heads. My cam is real real small at 254/260 but i've got over .150" clearence. My pistons are custom though. Good luck.
