383 power?
94 trans am, 383ci reconditioned rods, forged pistons, balanced crank, 10.7:1 comp, LT4 hot cam , 58mm Tb, heads milled a bit and slight porting to exhaust, Moroso CAI, MSD wires, Edelbrock LT headers 3in pipe with high flow race CAT 40 series flow mast, New poly trans mount New 4.11 gears plus a complete rebuild less then a year ago, Auburn posi unit, Brand new Nitto Drag radials , subframe connectors. About 50,000 miles on it.
So what kind of numbers and times should this t/a run?

FlowMaster??? I though everyone know they're junk by now. . .
The good news is, with a ported intake, ported heads, cam swap, and a new muffler, you can easily break 400 rwhp, maybe 430.

I think it's kind of a dick move and overstatement to say poor selection of parts... I mean just because i want a smaller more mild cam doesn't mean i have a poor selection of parts. But anyways is thatg 360 to the wheels?

A stock motor makes 240 rwhp, add the bolt-ons and you get 300. Add the hot cam and you might reach 330 rwhp. The extra cubes will get you some torque, but without the heads to flow the air, will only add 5 - 10 hp. Add a Flowmaster muffler and that's a 20 hp loss. Now we're at 320 rwhp. It should pull about 110 mph in the quarter. Depending on driver's skill, tire, gear, and trans, that could be anywhere from 12.50 to 13.20.

Like what everyone else said you should probably rethink your parts combination.
I understand you may not want a big *** lopy cam but especially with the extra cubes you can easily go with a bigger cam and still have all of the streetability. Those heads are just choking your engine and I would highly suggest some long tube headers or at least mids for a 383.

Dude it's your car, do what you like to it, some of these guys are giving good advise and the ones that are not ... well it's not like they are buying the parts for you. It's all in what you want and can afford.

I was more talking about the fact the heads were not REALLY ported. If forced to do one OR the other HEADS are without a doubt a better choice than shortblock. You will find very few if any knowledgable people who will disagree with me on that.
If the 383 shortblock was a repair a genuine repair not "It has miles so it must be junk " Then fine we all do things a little backwards on occassion to fit our situation.
There was a time when I thought power was all about cubes, I have done a lot of learning since then, yes cubes can help but you NEED a topend to support them and basically stock heads do not fit the bill.
