Default Milled Dart 205's, G5X3, 90/90 A4 results are in.

Well, I finally got her done and my wallet is alot lighter. Ill have the Dyno Graph up as soon as I can.

Results were 421.59HP and 354.24TQ...

I thought the TQ is kind of low. I am having the guys email all the info so I can try and tell you what everything is set at.

Thanks LGM and TSP for putting up with my phone calls and my buds here in town for the install.

Not too shabby for a 99,000 mile car with a 4K stalled A4.

IMHO that converter is killing your torque. HP looks great, but the TQ loss is due to the converter. I went through the same thing with a ProTorque converter. Get a Yank and be done with it.

The torque converter's not killing the power. It's obvious that the dyno runs are with a locked-up converter. Nice numbers.

Awesome #'s

Like I said before the locked converter will lower the torque like that.

Yea, I have been hearing that the verter is whats making my TQ numbers low. The tuner did not put too much timing into as he said he was picking up some knock. I honestly dont know what he left it at.

Any suggestions where some knock or false knock might come from?

I still have yet too do a full throttle run.. Damn think kicks me in the seat half throttle!!

Time to get some ET's! Thats the only way to tell!!

Good #'s for your H/C setup. I can't believe how much hp those A4's eat up.
Let's see what kind of 1/4 miles she is going to lay down. Good Luck !!

I just noticed, you are running the 90/90 intake/TB. Wow your #'s could be quite a bit higher. Check the tune. Could be something.

Since the A4`s are not dyno queens , let us see some track results.

Congrats!

Interesting how this proven set up is still 50hp less than HighTech's magic heads and cam package on the same dyno

tq definitly seems low no matter how you look at it...300ftlb through a locked converter at 4000 rpms??? You might wanna up that stall to about a 5500 to make use of your powerband lol

Yea, to be honest, I was hoping for 430-440 range. The tuner said he was getting "knock". So, Im not sure if its false knock or not (exhaust bangin, etc). I called the tuner to see what he left my timing at but he is out of town due to some races going on at BIR this weekend.

i still think it's in the tune. if the tuner picked up knock in the midrange the timing is probably low at peak torque.have you put in new knock sensors ?

No, i have not changed anything... Maybe since the cam causes more vibration, might make the exhaust rattle/bang more. I did however, at idle, notice some chatter in the rear now..

Those are solid numbers through an A4....Dont fret over the dyno numbers take it to the track and see what kind of MPH you run.

nICE NUMBERS. Now remember this, at one time over 400rwhp was great numbers out of an LS1 thre a 6 speed, and then it was 420rwhp, 440 and now about 460 and up is great.

You got over 420rwhp thru an A4. great numbers. Most ford 347's do not make over 420rwhp thru a 5 speed. Neverthe less alot of their 408 strokers are under 450rwhp thru a manual.

Doing great, should be big power. Describe it vs stock for us.
