Default 17X9.5 Black ZO6 Motorsports on Red Z28

Here is my 99 Z28 with my new Black Z06 Motorsports 17X9.5" with some Nitto 555ZR Extremes 275/40/17. I think they look very good for the price.
My total for rims, tires, mounted and balanced was 1155 dollars. I dont think that it was too much, probably typical price. Bout time for the 1-2" drop right? Tell me what you think.
The car aint the cleanest in the pics, just rained last night and juct got back from the installer shop.

they're the BFG kDW2 tires. unfortionatly the fronts are smaller than i would have liked but it's the widest you can get them in a 17 inch rim.....

255-40zr17 in the front
295-35zr18 in the rear

i am just finishing up my 9 inch install right now...after that some DR's will be going on!

I think that I am going to find a 1.5" lowering spring kit. Is it true that you should change the shocks at the same time? I dont have anything special just stock.

im no expert...ask or check up in the handling/braking section...im sure you'll get a respose there with some direction!

"strano parts" / sam will be the man you want to talk to about handling...that or "foxxtron" he helped me out a lot with my suspension questions!
