Damn,3.80

We got 770rwhp from a 346 with a 4.25" pulley on pump gas. Our race cars have hit 1050rwhp with the F1R and A3 tranny's.

1050 rwhp!? That sounds great! Maybe I can hit 900 rwhp whit that pulley?

My motor specs are:
347 cui forged 8,5-1 CR ( hoping for 20 psi)
ET 240 heads
F1R, 8 rib, 3,8 RR
FMIC 4 inch thick
224 228 58? 114
ECS fuel system
75 injectors
LG headers no cats
M6 gearbox

What do you guys think?

First thing that stands out too me is the camshaft. Seems to be a bit small for the type of power your wanting to make.

Just my opinion though.

Unless this is a race car I would rather run compression at 10-1 and use a D1 on that Combo.
Also add a Carb intake and smaller cc heads

your injectors will likely be maxed out before 900rwhp. The 60s I have are good to ~750rwhp and I'm going to have to go 83 or 96 for the 900.

My plan is to upgrade to a LS2 block later, but now I just want to see how much boost my 347cui can take. Thats why I have those big heads and F1R

Im happy as long as I have 800 rwhp or more.

What is a Carb intake?

whats the most RWHP that an F2 will produce on say a 408 or 422 engine?

Will it fit and still allow me to keep A/C?

The 1050 rwhp car, I have to ask the dumb question as my knowledge of S/C pulley to boost ratios...sucks. Anyway at what Bar or PSI does this car make 1050 rwhp? If you don't mind me asking...

Seamed like our F1 car liked 16lbs. We ran 18lbs and it would lift the heads at the track on pump gas.

It's not really boost. It's engine combination. Compression,Cam/Head selection.

If you are really going to get 20 PSI going to your car then I would say that looks ok. Cam is ok in my opinon, but a different cam could help if you talk to a good cam company to help out with some of the technical sides of picking a cam. Good luck!

I went with the F1C blower... and I plan on running a 3.85" pulley on my 408/ET240cc head setup. I am expecting over 800rwhp for sure, and honestly would be more than upset if it did any less!

Do you have an F-body? Did the F1R fit the J-bracket? Did you have to do any sort of custom work to fit it there?

Thanks

Why just a D1 with such high compression?
