Default CF 12" DF held GREAT!!!!

I told everybody I'd update when I finally put my Centerforce 12" DF under some real stress, and I finally did so tonight...

Rough mod list:
ported 5.3 heads
comp cam
LS6 intake
full bolt ons
CF 12" clutch/PP/Billet Steel Flywheel
Built T-56
Built 9" rear w/ 4.30's
130 Nytrex N2O (guesstimated...)
mild suspension
26X11.50 ET Streets

I made a couple motor passes, launching at areas between 3,000&5,000 and it held up with EASE....

Last pass I launched at 4,000 on the kit, cut a 1.6 short time, banged the hell outta the gears, and the clutch held up FLAWLESSLY!!!!!

Its been driven now for 6,000 miles, launched on Nitto's more times than I can count, and it still is easy enough for me to drive as my daily driver (because it IS my daily driver lol)...

How does it shift at high rpm? Also, do you have a shim behind the slave?

thats good to hear! I have had great success with my DF 12" also. Never launched on drag radials yet but it has taken a beating at the track and on the street! I just gotta figure out my problem with it not letting me into gear above 5500 or 6000rpm.(same problem as mjhoward)

i'm pretty sure he is a sponsor. If you want to ask him any questions and/or find out for yourself how good the customer service is or possibly ask a question about performance i would shoot him a pm. His screen name is Will Baty. Do a search on centerforce and his name will come up.

I have no problem shifting at 6800 RPM's at all....but I also have a built tranny, and don't mind beating on it...

Mine disengages at the top, but that is because I have an adjustable master cylinder and set it there...
