Default UPDATE: Track Results: Dominator 427 Goes 614 rwhp / 555 rwtq

We just finished up a customers 2000 Camaro with our solid roller 427 LS2. I was pretty happy with the numbers considering the driveline. Moser 12 bolt with 4.30 gears, McLeod twin disk clutch with steel wheel, Denny's Nitrous ready driveshaft.

Engine uses ET 265 heads and a custom cam. Compression is in the 13.5:1 range. I'll post the graphs when I get back in town. Out racing

Mikey

You can only use the Jesel rockers with the 265 heads. They're really expensive! Crank is a Callies Racemaster, Lunati Pro Billet Rods, Custom Diamond Pistons. The rest is secret

I should mention that we use a FAST 90mm intake for now. Although it was heavily ported and worked, the engine was starving for air up top. Peak power came in ~6500 rpm. We're talking to a sheet metal intake guy at the moment

very interested in seeing the graphs... the ETPs still don't seem to be blowing away stock heads IMO. tosto's solid roller 421 is putting out a little more power with ls6 heads... he does have a sheetmetal intake though.

still an ASSLOAD of power all motor

Nice power!

Take a look at the Wilson Intake.
Should help with the breathing up top!

Dyno graph would be great!

LOL, ran it both ways. Used a custom SD EFI Live tune and an OEM OS MAF based tune. No power difference. No idle difference. When this engine is allowed to breath with a better intake, you can bet the MAF will become a restriction then but now it is not.

The tq tells a story of huge potential, just imagine if you can keep a similar tq, mv it over 500rpm to the right and move the hp peak to 7500 rpm.

Talking about 700 or so rwhp with 550 rwtq

What about the carb style intakes? I'm sure if properly ported, they could help out a ton and wouldn't be insanely expensive.

Great numbers. Is that with a sheetmetal intake? Or ported FAST?

LME is almost finished with our 455 cid LS1 with ET 265's big solid roller Becks Sheetmetal with accufab 105 mm TB. We are also shooting for 13.5 comp ratio.

This is going into our 1996 Impala SS..

It's a ported FAST 90mm for now. We are talking to several folks about a sheet metal intake and some other things
