Spark is measured in grams/cylinder. NA cars with bolt-ons will hover in the .72~.88 columns at WOT depending on air densities (altitude and temperature). When you create boost, you're forcing more air into the cylinders. As a general rule, I'd say anything above .80 grams/cylinder is where boost starts to kick in.

I can shoot up a screenshot of my timing later cause my laptop is in my car... for a starting point try flatlining everything from 3200rpm up and between .76 and 1.20g/cyl to 12*, that will be on the safe side, then slowly bump timing until kr as long as your fuel is on target, lowest timing @ peak tq, highest timing @ peak hp... mine goes from 14*@4k to 20*@5600 and up... kind of understand what I'm saying?

first find where on the spark table is the 'boost' area. then change it to 12* (it's way safer to start low then to start high and blow up) remember that even at 0 psi, that's more pressure than most NA setups get. so anywhere > 101kPa you better default to something safe. spark tables are unfortunately not in MAP but in DynCylAir, so first you gotta correlate the switchpoint from <0 boost to >0 boost to DynCylAir. it's a simple histogram to make, MAP vs DynCylAir. you'll learn at what DynCylAir your MAP goes into positive boost territory, so use that to guide you with your PE triggers and spark values

here's my table on 91crap gas and alcy, you can see where it level's off, thats the boost area, just drop those number's lower to begin with, also your all around timing may be different due to engine specifics, weather, and fueling.. and learn to play w/the interpolate and smoothing...
