I mean going with the 1800 is not going to allow you to get hardly anything out of that cam really.

Don't be afraid of a big stall. I daily drove a 4200 and 4.10s for years. I got really used to it. The only thing that reminds me of the stall is the fact that one of my fbodies is still stock and the other heavily modded. You get used to it. Get a mid 3K stall, you will regret going lower then 3400. 3400-3600 is a great range for daily stalls for most people.

For a STOCK car I would automatically put in at least a 3000 stall. I would be comfortable driving a 3500 stall on a bolt on's car. I run a 4400 daily on mine.

It will be more of a dog off the line. The powerband with the 228r is higher than the stock cam so you need to launch from a higher RPM in order to get the full benefit from the cam.

I have that cam with a 3400 Fuddle. I like it. It definitely fries the tires.
