they only started the tradition of starting in the previous years ending spot in 04. 03 ended in arlington and they started in arlington in 04. i think its that NJ is so damn far away from the whole damn country, and would piss alot of ppl off if it started there

Start it in the west.

Well this is good news.
I went on 04, I did not go this year because it was to far. And thinking with it starting in NJ next year, I was definitely not going. But it looks like I am back on for 07. :drive:

The roads down south were good and you could not have asked for better weather this year...80-90 degrees sunny with some breeze blowing..no rain..I had a great time and the good weather was a plus for sure.. :)

whats with all the "TOO FAR" crap....ever think there might be some people in that part of the country that would like to do the tour at some point?? lol i know we're out of the loop all the way up here in the NE part of the country but there are plnty of people here in PA, NJ, NY, and MA that would like to participate. if you dont like driving far, than the power tour isnt for you cause your driving around for most of the day, everyday, for 5 days straight...not to mention what you drive just to get to the starting point and than back home.

I went for the long haul in 05, but didn't go this year because I didn't like the stops. If it does in fact go from Ohio to Arkansas, I will be doing the long haul on my motorcycle.

When do people usually start making reservations?
Phoenix 5.7
07-02-2006, 02:04 PM
some as soon as the venues are announced. we almost always do reservations about 3 months ahead of time

hey guys I am planning being a long hauler in 2007. By the way you want to make reserveations as soon as you can limited spots open. Also we need to all meet some where to travel together the people from the south Texas and around. The Tour will end about thirty miles from me so it will be really easy for me. Can't wait till next year. I was on tour in 2001 it was a blast. Hope to see you all there.

Springfield is about 45 min. from me so i'll def. at least have to go for a day long cruise. I'll pull some friends together and maybe we'll all head down to Springfield and meet up to cruise for a while. I guess I'll get more info. when time comes next yr.
