Headers make it impossible to get to last plug!!!
I have hooker super comp headers on my 02 ss. I changed 7 of my plugs from platinum to iridium plugs. No matter what I do, I can't get to the last one on the passenger side!!!! Looks like i'll have to take the header off the pass side!!!
It misfires aboove 4500 rpm. I'm assuming it's because I have 7 iridiums and 1 platinum? Any secrets to taking off these headers? Damn!!!

Ok, thanks to you guys, I have finished the plugs. Now, of couse, there's a problem. It's backfiring and misfiring, not too bad but noticable in the higher rpms. I'm thinking I may have messed the new ones up when I tried to run the car with 7 iridium and 1 platinum, although I only drove it like that a mile or so. I doublechecked the boots on all the plugs prior to starting it. What ya think?

I second the checking the plugs for a cracked one. I have done that twice so far . I was lucky enough to realize it when it happened though.
Don't you just love tracking down the little aggravations .

I used to check my plugs up to 3 times a day when i was spraying and never had a problem. I also never had to get under my car to connect or disconnet anything, because it was simple enough to get from the top. Oh and when you take that back stud out from the rear just leave it out, it makes the next plug check/change a whole lot easier.

I have seen some aftermarket plug wires come apart on the inside from pulling them off of the plugs as well. Use an Ohm meter on the wires to make sure they are all ok.
