Default Gains from LS6 as last bolt on....

With all my other bolt-ons, what do you guys think an LS6 is worth. It's my last one.

Thanks

ls6 intake is much betterthan a ls1 intake. but I'd just save for a fast 90/90 setup. Unless you find one dirt cheap.

I'm going to have to disagree. I think the LS6 intake is an excellent choice considering his mods and the fast 90/90 setup would do more harm then good on stock internals. The fast 90/90 setup is going to cost $1000+ and see minimal gains while the LS6 intake will cost half of that. You could even look around in the for sale section and pick one up for cheaper. I would suspect you to gain somewhere around 20rwhp.

He isnt big heads and cam, so the LS6 will be a fine compliment. Just stating that the 90/90 setup should be purchased is a "newb safe out".

LS6/ported tb would be a great improvement and probably worth 20rwhp give or take on the big end.

PS - You can ALWAYS sell an LS6/ported tb if you want to upgrade in the future.

Would he see the same gains on the 90/90 set up as the ported tb and ls6 intake or would he face some problems with the 90/90 with his mods?

90/90 setup on a stock heads/cam/displacement motor you are going to lose alot of low end torque, kind of the same reason you don't put on 1 7/8" headers unless you are making some serious power

I not doing a 90/90 untill I get H/C and more cubes.
But I am getting the 1 7/8s headers I will give up a little torque for that sound and i think they will compliment the H/C, stroker kit and 90/90 when they are fitted together.

I really don't think a fast setup is worth the power to dollar ratio. I'm going h/c one day and I've researched and think the LS6 is sufficient, just wondering how much I'm leaving on the table without it now.
