New Addition to My Garage (LS2)
After years of shopping and comparing I finally broke down and bought a brand new muscle car. I decided to join the LS2 GTO ranks this past Saturday morning.
I got to test drive the car Friday afternoon fresh off the truck with 5 miles on it, plastic intact. I returned to the dealer then next morning to sign the papers, uwrapped it, took it home, washed and detailed myself. No dealer tampering or paint swirls from their shoddy wash jobs.
I couldn't be happier. The GTO is an extraordinary package for the money.

yeah your really not suppose to get on them until about 5000 miles or so, that was the break in period for my moms C6 at least. shouldnt go over 4500 RPMs and take it easy until you get close to 5000 miles.

I usually give it a few decent (not quite redline) RPM runs to seat the rings. Granted they should be good to go from the factory so they say.
Don't keep constant RPMs etc. 5k miles is BS. These motors run in their prime in that area however. Change the oil at 500 miles and it will be good to go.
Very clean car, sharp color as well.
