Actually the 99 tb is different from the 00. You'll just need to take the blade/shaft out and swap the shafts, as the cable cam is slightly smaller on the 99. It's a 10 minute job if you have the throttle bodies off already.
Ported stock throttle body is a great compliment to the LS6. A FAST 78mm or something is going to offer enough power increase over a ported stock to justify the cost.

Unless you go for a 90mm intake stick with a stock ported TB.

All you need to do is unscrew the TPS sensors, unscrew the blades from the shafts going thru the TBs, slide the shafts out, swap them, then put them back together. If the ported TB has the 1/2 shaft mod with shorter blade screws, or you just want to do it to yours, you can do that to yours before you put it back in the ported TB.
Do a search for some more info. Its about a 10 minute job, but you will need some Torx screwdrivers/bits to get the screws out.
BTW - Just bump your old threads if nobody has answered your questions instead of making new threads.
