Default Fluidampr?

Just wanted to find out if the Fluidampr harmonic damper is a direct replacement for the stock balancer?

You will need a crank key.

You'll have to remove the hub as the Fluidampr is a one piece setup.

I did alittle more research and Thunderracing has an ATI balancer that says it bolts to the crank hub where the Fluidampr replaces the hub. can some fill me in on these two.

I've got a Fluidampr on a Callies Racemaster crank. It replaces the hub and all. Bolts right on. Don't know about stock crank.

Where did you get the key for the crank to use that balancer? I was told you have to run a crank key with those balancers.

I've never heard of such. There's a "key" on my Callies crank and a "keyway" on the balancer. It just slides right on. I can't remember if there was anything on the stock crank snout or not. If you want the Fluidampr balancer, then buy it. There are not any holes or slots or craters or mountains on it. Just a bolt on.
