Default Cheapest place to ship an ls1 shortblock??

I am having some problems with fedex ground and shipping of a shortblock.

I have shipped several shortblocks in the past with no issues with them. This time they do not want to accept it because its a couple pounds over their maximum 150lb weight.

What is the cheapest method shipping something that weighs 160lbs across country???? Trying to do it for similar cost as fedex ground ($150)

I once received a hood shipped greyhound package. The only thing is you need to drop it off and pick it up at a greyhound bus station. The good news is that the hoos was 40 bucks to ship instead of 120 bucks like fedex and ups wanted.

thanks to the guy who sent me the link to www.freightquote.com

Just did a online quote, rep from the company called me on the phone a minute later and did the bill of lading and created the shipment for me in about 5 minutes on the phone

Total was $159 to ship a 200lb engine on pallet from California to Florida.
