Default toqrue thrust 2 problems

I was thinking about getting a set of torque thrust 2 wheels and a buddy of mine told me that he knew a few people that bought them and when they got the wheels they were out of round causing them to make a thumping noise. it happened with all different tires so its def the wheels. Is this a common problem or just bad luck? If you have or have not had this problem please let me know. thanks

I did .......... went thur 3 sets [ 12 wheels] 10 out of the 12 were out of round.

bought the first set and the z-28 rode like it was on eggs.

went back and the american raceing guy just happen to be there.

he told the tire guys that they were out of round. he knew. he order 4 more TTll when they come in , pulled out of thr box , and checked and they were out of round too. 4 more ordered and 2 of those were out of round.

so i went and got a set of CRAGARS. the cragars look 10 times better and are chrome .

i know so guys that have the ttll and a lot of then have wheel weighs all over the wheel even double stacked wheel weights.

you can not fix a out of round wheel.

I just put a set on my car. Two used 17 x 9.5's and two new 17 x 11's the 9.5's were beat up a little so i took them to my uncle that tigged a few spots and cleaned them up. I was worried about them when i had the tires mounted the guy said one had a very little tweak by the lip. I said oh well the front two were used, he said no it was one of the back ones.... Go figure... He tried to show me but I couldn't tell, and I'm pretty **** about that stuff. All the wheels balanced great and are smooth as silk up to 130 he didn't have to use very many weights to get them to balance.

I was at the front end/tire shop a few weeks ago. Got talking to one of the owners, who just happened to be mounting a set of the AR Torque Thrust 2 piece wheels. He said that he wasn't impressed with them anymore...Out of round problems.
