4l60e green plug
i just installed my new transmission and its slipping bad in all of the forward gears.
i couldnt get the green plug all the way in. the plug is located on the right side of the transmission so what does this control.

I put a stall in a buddies LS1 car and had the same problem. Turns out the plug that mounts on the tranny had come loose and when I would try and push the connector down onto it, it would just push it in the tranny. See if that is your problem. If it is, you can fix it with a good amount of JB weld.
