Default TR55 or TR6

Should I go with a TR55 or TR6 plug?

Mods are LS2 with H/C and full bolt ons. CR will be around 11.0

TR6...thats what I run.

The tr55 will work...but they will be getting a little bit on the hot side.

100 horse over stock and or 11:1 compression equals a step colder plug.

Is the TR6 a tapered seat plug or gasketed?? Which type of plug do the heads that you're running now take??

I am going with TR-6's as soon as I have the time to install them in place of my 5's.

Don't TR6 come pre-gapped at .035"? So they should be opened up to .045-.050?

If the ls2 head is the same as the ls1 then it's a tapered seat with .708" reach.

I run the TR6, ran the TR55's and they were too hot, better safe than sorry, and bring it down a notch.

ETP GIII cylinder heads require 14mm x ¾” reach spark plugs.
so will TR-6's work ok for my ETP's?
