SLP dual/dual for the newbies

anyone know what to use to get that black crud out of the inside of the tips? it's stained in. not even the almighty orange clean can do it whoever had this car before me didn't think it was a good idea to clean the 5 years of carbon buildup in the tips...EVER...

Aluminum wheel cleaner should take it off Choco. When used with an SOS pad it, you could tear into a bank vault with that stuff.

I have Magnaflow tips on mine, which can be found on Magnaflow.com in the "trucks/SUV section". I had to go there to find 3" inlets. If you find some nice magnaflow tips, search the magnaflow part number and the word "magnaflow" on eBay. You should be able to find them for half price.

Follow the link in my sig for pics. Try a search, you should find plenty.

I'm running the Magnaflow catback with the standard 3.5" Magnaflow tips on my car.

Choco, I use Never-Dull on my exhaust tips and Torque Thrust IIs. It will take that carbon buildup off of your tips.

thanks, i'll have to look for some next time i go into advance to get a can of seafoam for my injectors.

only problem is, aluminum wheel cleaner will work on stainless steel tips? meh, i suppose, if aluminum can handle it, steel should take it like a champ. i've been meaning to get some for these polished rims anyway.
