Installing FRC's: I have a few questions
Okay, I am installing some fuel rail covers on a 2001 Trans Am. They are already cut and I have removed the A.I.R. tubes for clearance.
Here are my questions:
1) On the driver's side I notice some interference from the bracket that holds the throttle and cruise control cables. I am not talking about the main bracket behind the throttle body. I am talking about the one on top of your intake manifold that is held onto a stud by a 10mm nut. Do I need to take this bracket off and re-route the cables?
2) On the passenger's side, I am wondering what to do with the cables for the electronic cruise control (the cables that go into the black box behind the battery). Do I somehow install the FRC over these cables, or do I leave these cables above the FRC?
I appreciate any help I can get here. Thanks in advance. If you have any questions about something I didn't address, please post it up.

1. You will have to remove that bracket and re-route the cables.
2. I've seen FRC over those wires and under those wires. I put my FRC's under the wires, but I think it can me done either way....your preference I think.....

Travis said it best. That little bracket along the middle of the manifold will be scrap metal at the end of the project and "I" would put the cables above the covers secured so they wont scratch.
What kind of covers are they? Just curious.

Remove the bracket, or simply bend it down out of the way after pulling the cables out of it. The cables can then simply lay on top of the covers.
Keep playing with'em, you'll have it figured out in no time, ...

BTW, you did an excellent job on the cutting and sanding! That looks like GM made it that way I'll be ordering another set from you real soon
