Default Ported Throtttle Body?

I'm currently working on porting my old throttle body. I will be installing it on my friends camaro. Does anyone think he will notice any changes in performance or will it just end up being a waste of my time?

At least it's my old throttle body and not his. It's more or less an experiment on my part.

If done well he should feel a bit more throttle response and maby a little more on the top? I put mine on at the same time I did the LS6 swap and definatly felt a stronger pull above 4k or so. This was when I was cam only, now I have a cam and FAST 90/90.

I just did mine today... It took me a day and half. Reason is my damn dremel keep dying on me so I had to recharge it every time it dies. I had to do a combo of hand porting and dremel porting and hand polish/dremel polish. I'm going to re-polish to smooth out the imperfections later sometime.

Here is the results <pics>: BTW, P&P tb is awesome, talk about quick throttle response and quicker acceleration.

I used a carbide cutter for the rough in, then a large grinding stone on my drill, after that a large drum sander on a drill then hand sanding o-plenty! Then followed up with the mothers power ball and metal polish.
