Default Difference between a 2002 Formula and a 2002 T/A WS6

Hey guys

What is the difference between:
http://www.autoscout24.ch/AS24Web/De...&page=1&row=5#

(I know the wheels on the silver one are not standard)

and

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...QQcmdZViewItem

I see:
The hood
10HP more for the T/A WS6

other diffrences? I speak prior of the performance between those cars. But please tell me all things you know about the Formula. What makes the car better or worse that a T/A WS6 with this "double intake hood"?

formula is lighter due to no ground effects and the low hatch spoiler, as far as hood goes 10 hp with the hood open once u close it a CAI is better

The T/A will have more standard features like leather seats, WS6 will give you sway bars springs rims and hood. Performance wise you won't see much diffrence, its mostly apperance. The Formula looks like a V6 Firebird but has the T/A drivetrain.

So i can make the Formula as fast as a WS6? It's just a matter of style between and the Formula is the... let us say premium version of the T/A and the WS6 the better handling one?

Yes, they are pretty equal on the performance aspect. It really just boils down to which one you think looks better. Some people like the muscled up look of the WS6 T/A and some prefer the sleek look of the formula. The WS6 does have a better suspension and you can also get a WS6 Formula if you can find one.

BTW, the T/A is the "premium" version.

What would a upgrade in the Suspension with other (maybe better) brands on a Formula will cost me. Is it worth?

When my car was stock I was running faster times than a WS6. The handling diffrence would be bigger sway bars, I have bigger sway bars than a stock WS6 and the pair cost me less than $300 with poly bushings. I added subframe connectors lower control arms, panhard rod, sway bars, strut tower brace, good tires and better rotors and brake pads and still didn't make up for the $5000 diffrence in a new 02 WS6 T/A and a new 02 Formula.

True you can get a WS6 Formula but the last year was 2000 for the Formula WS6 and very rare as well a a 2002 Formula onlt 901 built that year, for the best of both worlds a Formula Firehawk has it all only 167 built in 2002. IMO

Hmmm... what do you think about the silver Formula i postet? A good car? Only 54000km (around 33000miles) and 18" wheels. Car is stock and price 20'000 Dollars. There are just a FEW cars so i'm in a sellers market i think it is called.

Performance wise, they are almost the same car. I dont think theres gonna be enough of a difference to constitute buying one over the other, especially not if you intend to put performance mods on it.

Buy whichever one you like more, or whichever one you get a better deal on.

BTW WS6 Formula FTW
