How "silent" would either of these cams be thru full exhaust? Assuming you opt. for the 116LSA on the 224R.....
Any other input on 220-224 sized sleeper cams out there? Seems like the most proven one right now is still the MTI Stealth II.

I just got my car back from Speed Inc today. I had the SI007 cam installed. Cam only I gained 43+ at the rear wheels and the car idles like it's stock.
I've got long tubes and no cats, it's defintely a little louder than before but not obnoxious at all.
I'll be going to track next weekend.

Unfortunately that is most of the driving I've done so far -lol
Idle is 750 rpms slightly higher with the AC on. I'm pretty impressed so far.
If it weren't for just a slight lopiness you would never know it's there.
Perhaps that is why they call it the "007" cam.
I'm using Comp 918 springs.
I'll post up some results from the track next Sunday.

I don't put more than two-three thousand miles on the car per year, most of that is driving to and from the track. I have no idea how long the springs will last, hopefully for quite a long time. The 918's are good for up to .625" lift, they have been around for a while and are a good design. These are what Speed Inc recommended, they did the install.
Speed Inc dyno tuned the car. Idle is at 750 rpms, not sure where excatly my shift points are set. I should be able to find out this weekend at the track with Autotap.

Well I went to the track yesterday and I'm very dissapointed.
I was only able to get 3 runs yesterday, two of them 12.50@108.5mph.
There was about 1-1/2 hrs between runs so the car was cool.
My previous best before the cam was a 12.46@108.31mph
With the cam I was expecting 12.0's @110-111 mph.
Not sure what to make of it yet. The weather conditions were not ideal, low baro. pressure & moderate humidity. A few guys I talked to said they were down about 3 mph. Still I would have expected to gain something despite the weather. I may need to bring the car back to have a look at the tune. Unfortunately I did not get any runs logged with autotap. I'm not sure what to do at this point.
