Default Opinions on painted WS6 wheels

Just playing around. When I pictured painting the wheels in my mind, I didnt think I would like the look of it with SOM. I photoshopped it anyway and I love it. What do you guys think?

EDIT: I also lowered the car in PS

Not sure how I would go by getting them painted. Any tips on this would be appreciated.

If they are chrome you will have to have the chrome removed (chrome shop, or Ive heard of it being done with a torch)... If they are polished and clear coated I believe you can just scuff them up and paint over that or strip the clearcoat and then paint.

They are polished. I've already stripped the clear off of the wheels so all I need to do is clean, scuff and paint.

Tainted: Do you mean for the stripes or the wheels. The wheels are meant to look gloss black. The stripes are charcoal metallic. Not sure if I want black stripes are not.

Take them to a shop & get them powdercoated. It will last longer than regular paint.

i think it looks like crap...but then again i hate black rims...save the money and just drive your car a lot and let the brake dust build up...same effect...

i think chrome/polished look the best on a SOM, or any car for that matter, but your choice...enjoy..

I am pretty sure I am leaving them the way they are. Polished WS6 wheels will have to suffice... for now. I like the black wheels but I would get tired of the look quickly I think. I agree that chrome/polished look nicer/cleaner but black wheels look pretty aggressive. My ws6 wheels are just not shiny enough! I need to spend a little more time polishing them
