Yeah, it was worth not sleeping to hang out... and yeah, I talked to Scott quite a bit yesterday. I definitely had a great time.

That's not a Dick Harrell car.

Dick Harrell cars are built by GMMG, that car was built by GM and is one of a kind. When GMMG saw the car, they started begging GM to sell them the molds for the fenders, which they eventually did... but GM did not sell them the mold for the front fascia.

So they made a copy of that front mold then? The GMMG one has that same front it looks like. Only difference is the lower lip and a little wider, right?

Nope, the front fascia is different. Look at the grille for example...

Dick Harrell has a standard aftermarket LS1 Camaro grille. It's still a "bottom breather" like the other cars

#6 Sunoco Camaro has a recessed grille that is open and a much different pattern than the stocker. It gets cold air through the grille.

Steve was looking at the front of that car and said to me it looks like they just cut out the center section and set the grille back further. I still think they must have done some work on it, or had made a completely different nose for it. Sure would like to get that look on my car!!!

Looking at the pictures today it is different the bottom edge is more pronounced. IMO The GM Facia looks better than the GMMG as the egg crate grill is recessed.

Doug if Overhaulin ever steals Hockey Stripes make sure Moria makes me one of the insiders and I will make sure Foose knows what you would have wanted

Was a good day.

I think my Chevelle needs to go to Overhaulin first. They can come by and pick up the shell and add on from there...

I have to say that I like the more recessed look that GM has and the grill too.
