Default Who wants a Turbo?

We are looking to get rolling on fabbing up a few turbo kits for the F-Bodies as well as the trucks.. We are at step 1 right now- finding a donor car, someone who would be willing to let us have their vehicle for a few weeks to have a turbo kit installed for a reduced price.
A little information on our fabricator- his name is Don and he used to work at a company called Protech in Austin. Problems arose and now he is done with Protech and on pretty much on his own. So we are teaming up with him to put his skills to work. For those of you who know Donald, you know what kind of awesome work he has done- he built the RX-8 that made it into Car and Driver magazine (July, 2006). For those of you who dont, Here are a few pics of his work on an RX-7, everything you see is fabricated by him, from the dual-wall downpipe, the intake manifold and exhaust manifold.
What we are looking for is either a 2000-up Pickup (any engine) or 1996-up F-Body. We want to to make this kit easy to bolt in, but also now have problems associated with alot of other kits- i.e. burning power steering hoses, brake lines, ground clearance. We will need full cooperation from the owner of the vehicle to allow us to do what we need to make this kit work- no :dont touch this" or "I dont want that moved" kinda stuff..
If anyone is interested, please PM me or call 254-780-3909
Steve

Not 100% sure on the final price, but probably in the $6000-$8000 range with everything needed to bolt up (injectors, tune, brackets, turbo, wastegate, etc)

You dont mean that much for someone supplying a donor car, do you? Thats a bit high for a no questions asked project car, IMO of course.

No, those prices are the retail prices. The donor car will be significantlly lower..
