In the Oct 2002 issue of High Performance Pontiac, a reader wrote in asking a similiar question. Since your car is already equiped with a 3.8, (unlike the reader), you will need a 140 deg. elbow fabricated that will face the throttle body forward instead of to the side as is on the GTP. The ECU will also have to be reprogramed. But this is probably just scratching the surface of what may be needed. Another route you may want to explore is perhapse a turbo kit similiar to a GN that may work a little easier.

Wouldnt it also sit too high on the motor and too far back, resulting in you would have to cut part of the window out and get a new hood?

Yes, Thats half the battle. Any roots style blower won't work on a 4th gen fbody (room issue) if i'm not mistaken.

I have seen pics of a roots blower mounted correclty on a RWD L36 but it spun off a gear driven driveshaft of sorts that spunt the nose mounted pulley at the back ofthe engine bay.

Get a CSC and mount it up with the proper bracket or a fabbed bracket and it will make more boost anyhow. Single turbo would be easier actually, and make more boost yet.

I second that idea, I have seen some killer GN motors in F-bodies, I think they have an article on High Tech High performance GM mag (im not sure about the name but its something like that) They had this Firebird that had the GN motor and was pushing like 700 hp, it was freaking wicked
