Default Texas Speed duals...

The muffler option with the texas speed dual setup are dynomax bullets, sweet thunder, and moroso spiral flows. Im going to order the duals, but does anyone have any sound clips or opinions on what mufflers are good to go with? Thanks.

Can't speak for anything but the spiralflows, but they sound amazing. If you can wait, I'll have some sound clips soon.

I went with the spiral flows and absolutely love the way they sound. I get a lot of compliments with the system too.

Sweet Thunder here on a custom setup....very aggressive and deep sound to them. Check out LS1sounds.com. Look under the true duals section. Everything you could possibly want is there.

Bullets flow the best if that matters to you.. The spiral flows are the quietest, which isnt very quiet... The Sweet Thunders imho sound the best, but they reduce to 2 1/2 pipe in the middle.. If you plan on having tons of HP, the bullets are best for you.. if youre not so worried about getting all the power you can, get one of the other two.. either way, any setup will flow better than a y-pipe setup..

Yep, with duals there's no such thing as quiet anymore... it's loud, or real loud. I have some clips of my spiral flows if anyone wants 'em, they kinda suck, but it's all I got (been raining ALL day).

I have alot of systems just like the TSP system using spiral flows and bullets and as far as sound goes the spiral flows just have a much better quality sound. It is much more refined and deeper. The bullets are basicly a toned down straight pipe.

I have the TSP's and have actually tried all three "muffler" options. The bullets are just Nasty in a good way. Very unrefined, lod and just scream at wot. The exhaust sounds all over the place. The sweet thunders clean up the sound a little, but still have that muscle car rumble with some added smoothness. They scream up top and have a controlled sound. The spiral flows are the smoothest sounding, less loud than the others, but loud nontheless. It has the most controlled sound, and sounds very similar to a Mustang with flows. I ended up staying with the sweet thunders, because that had the best mix of loud, sound quality and old school burrble. And dont worry about flowing from the 3 into the 2.5. Unless you are running a big cube motor or fi, i wouldnt worry, and even then 2.5 all around td's are enough for most.
