My Camaro SS started missing and skipping real bad all of a sudden at 30 mph. I pulled all sparkplugs and they look sooty black from being either overly rich or weak spark. Where is the best LS1 mechanic located nearest to Conyers, GA area without taking car to GM dealer? Conyers is located 30 miles east of Atlanta.

you need to scan it and see whats going on. I am going to GUESS you got an o2 that went bad

That would be my guess too..a scan will tell you the story for sure..

Sounds like O2 to me as well. Unplug the O2's and start the car. If it runs the same way then the O2's need to be replaced easy 10 minute job. Do it yourself in no time at all. And best of all its a Free Test...

I found out what the problem was. Car had a broken valve spring (20,000 miles on my MANLEY single coils).
