Default Changed Carpet Color

I hated how dirty the tan got with no effort. Had to go with more black to offset all the tan. I think it looks classy and my wife says it makes the interior look more expensive. I guess she means luxurious. I am looking at a set of black mats w/ tan pheonix logo.

that was in daylight, and the only pics i took. the flash on the camera fades out the black carpet, and darkens all the other black interior trim. i will shoot another with the falsh off. the carpet was free from a friend who turned his formula into a race car, so i just cleaned it up, put some black fabric dye on it and put it in. not bad for an afternoons worth of work and a couple of bucks for the dye. i even found .78 cents under my old carpet to help pay for the dye!

I like it a lot ! Looks more grey than black though...

If you ever throw money at the interior I would have the stock seats re-upholstered so they were a black leather with TAN inserts...

I find my self really liking how that looks. I think because it contrasts more with the tan seats and interior accents. Maybe the tan no longer washes out with the tan carpet. I have black carpet dye at home..... hmmmmm...... Maybe I can dye the Firebird and Camaro carpets when I do it. I see another winter project getting added to the list. Thanks and nice job!

That looks awesome, I'm now contemplating doing that to my car because my carpet is in bad shape anyways. Good job and thanks for the idea and pics.

I think it looks better than before. I also have the craptastic tan interior and plan on eventually switching everything to black.

I think you should get some black seats and panels up in there.
